I'm thrilled!

First of all, my expectations have been fulfilled.
I have already tried some summer and winter barefoot shoes from other manufacturers. Although I was completely satisfied, the sole usually came loose after a season.
Not a single one was really waterproof, let alone waterproof...and by that I mean walking through a dewy meadow with dry feet!
The reason I chose the HIQE was the promise of a waterproof, non-slip shoe with a sewn-through sole and tongue that also offers a barefoot feeling.
So far it has fully met my expectations. Dry feet when I trudge through damp meadows with the dog. Pleasant wearing comfort, wide toe box and impeccable insulation against the ground at 0°C. He has already mastered snow, mud and a short mountain hike over hill and dale well. What's still missing from the test is heavy rain, very low temperatures... but that was never actually my requirement! The only drawback is...I can't wear it without socks because otherwise my ankle gets sore and I walk downhill much more consciously than I do with hiking boots because it can get slippery.
If the shoe lasts another 2 years I will be completely satisfied and would buy it again. Then it's definitely worth the price.

Just put it on and set off. Super. No break-in necessary. Of course you notice every stone. But I think this means your feet are more active and you have grip even on steep terrain.

Since walking barefoot is very good for my pretty bad knee, I chose this pair of shoes. As a “barefoot shoe beginner”, I initially wore them at home and in the office to get used to them. After a short time I now use it to go for nice laps with my dog. I'm totally thrilled: the shoes nestle against my feet - they feel super comfortable to wear and walk on. Despite the current cold, I didn't get cold feet as long as I kept moving. It definitely won't be the last pair!

Great hiking barefoot shoe

I am thrilled with my new hiking boots. First 15km tour through the mountains survived flawlessly. Both my feet and the shoe itself ;). The feeling when running is very close to that of “real” barefoot running. Unpacked and started hiking straight away! Finally warm and dry feet! Even in mud and snow here in the Alps. My Winter Quintic can't keep up. I find the terracotta color with the blue contrasting laces very harmonious and funny. They won't be the last...Absolute recommendation!
