BRIQ is a classic Derby that has been embellished with fine broguings. However, you can't have a Derby without a heel, which is at odds with healthy barefoot shoes. We racked our brains for a long time and tried out a lot until we found the perfect solution. We skilfully carved a heel into our flexible barefoot sole. This gives the business shoe an absolutely classic and elegant style, yet you walk comfortably on flat soles.

Unbelievable how wonderful this product is. Very happy and impressed with it. Beautiful pair of brogue dress shoes. Quite frankly, handmade by ARTISTS.

Comfortable, functional, and hopefully will last a long time. Only time will tell but the quality is definitely here.

Dress shoes

Can't stand my dress shoes anymore. Since I started wearing barefoot shoes, normal shoes no longer work. With these shoes I can survive a long evening at the opera. The feet don't hurt.

The “heel” is what makes this shoe so elegant!
I hope it's around until I retire.
Comfortable, as expected.
However: next time I will buy it a size smaller, the normal size is clearly too big for me.

Great business shoe, great look and comfort!

Visually and in terms of comfort, the shoe is fantastic! Super light and flexible, and the barefoot sole is still thick enough so that your feet don't hurt even on stony paths. The only drawback is that the shoe, even if shown in the pictures, should not be worn with socks, as the shoes creak as soon as the socks get a little sweaty. The inner material would have to be redesigned to make it easier to wear with socks.

I wear two pairs of Briqu alternately. Super comfortable and in the bench it is not noticeable at all because the heel is only hinted at. Tip: The laces slowly tear after 2 years, unusually quickly. I would choose others to sell the shoes.

Great shoe, sophisticated look

I wear a size 39 in most barefoot shoes, but the Briq Brogue was too big for me in this size. When it was finally available in size 38, I snapped it up and didn't regret it. However, I still need an insole because otherwise it sits a bit loose and rubs my ankle. Insoles as an optional offer would be an enrichment for the shop, especially for people with flat or very narrow feet. Another wish would be the other models in size 38 - I've been waiting for years ;-)

Finally a barefoot shoe to go with a suit

I wear Fivefingers for running, hiking, walking, etc., but they don't go with a suit. I'm glad I finally found a barefoot shoe to go with my suit. It's a great feeling to take off your shoes after a day at the office and no longer notice the difference between with and without shoes. The shoes fit my normal size 1a. The foot has enough space but does not slip.
